We can provide a wide range of sailing experiences, making the most of our resources to meet the needs of families and groups. It is often the case that individual members of a party have different priorities, some wanting time to relax, sunbathe and swim while others want to learn to sail or improve their sailing skills. RYA courses are ideal when everyone is 100% committed to training, but they have a set syllabus which can interfere with the plans of those wanting a relaxing holiday in the sun. If you would like the opportunity to have a few afternoons off to sunbathe and explore the beautiful coastline of Menorca, you may prefer a charter with tuition tailored to meet your individual requirements.

‘Introduction to Sailing’ Weeks

This is a great way for friends and families to experience sailing on a big boat for the first time. You can choose to spend as many nights on board as you wish, or combine the course with a week in a villa, farmhouse or hotel accommodation. Menorca Cruising has been a recognised RYA sailing school for 15 years. You will benefit from an RYA qualified skipper with a local knowledge of the island, who will combine first class tuition with a great holiday in the sun. Take as long as you like over lunch. You must be aware that safety is the priority and the skipper has the final say over any itinerary.

‘Skipper Refresher’ Weeks

‘Skipper Development’ weeks are ideal for groups who want to combine a charter holiday with a refresher course or skills development training. These weeks allow you to choose the number of days you would like an instructor on board. If you are an experienced sailor you can book our Chief Instructor, who has honed the skills of some of Spain’s top racing sailors. Whatever your experience, there is always the chance to learn something new in Menorca, an island famous for its sailing winds.
