Why charter with Menorca Cruising? We are a small established company offering a personal, friendly yet highly professional service. Only 2 hours from the UK and ten minutes from Mahón airport, you can be onboard and ready to sail with minimum hassle. A circumnavigation of the island offers ideal conditions for sailing giving you the choice of mooring in unspoilt coves or in ports offering charming restaurants, bars and shops. At all times you have the added comfort that MCS support staff are less than an hour away if you should have any problems during your cruise.

Our Boats Bavaria 34/36/38/46 Few commercial boat yards produce yachts with such tremendous quality and performance as Bavaria. The three double private cabins, large fridge and large cockpit plus sparkling sailing performance make these Bavarias the ideal Mediterranean yachts. The yachts managed for Charter by Menorca Cruising are all privately owned. This ensures that they are looked after with great care and kept in excellent condition. Each yacht has its own individual touches in addition to the standard pack of extras offered with your charter.

Planning Your Holiday We can help you make the most of your holiday by helping you to plan your itinery on arrival. If you have not sailed around Menorca before why not take advantage of our 23 years of local knowledge of the harbours, anchorages, weather, shops and restaurants. Menorca is ideal for Charter for so many reasons. Firstly, you will climb on board your yacht on its home berth in the breathtakingly beautiful Mahón Harbour. Being 3.5 miles in length, sailing in the harbour is always guaranteed and it is the perfect place to get used to your yacht. The island has sheltered morning, lunch time and evening anchorages all the way round, making it ideal for families. With more than 40 unspoilt coves with clear, turquoise water and silver sand beaches, a circumnavigation of the island is a delight. Get away from the crowds and anchor in a sheltered cove or visit the harbours of Ciutadella or Fornells if you are looking for quayside restaurants, unique shops and a rich sense of history.

Perfect Sailing Weather Menorca enjoys around 300 days of glorious sunshine every year and it is rarely short of wind. During the summer days these winds average 3-4, providing a pleasant cooling breeze. They often fade away in the early evening to give you a peaceful night at anchor. Temperatures range from the low 20's in spring and autumn to above 30 degrees in July and August. "We fell in love with the island and can't wait to return to explore more calas next year. The sea was beautifully warm and our chlidren are still talking about the dolphins which followed us into the harbour"
