RYA Training Centre in Mao is the ideal venue to complete
the RYA VHF radio course. Including the training and assessment
for the RYA VHF Marine Radio - Short Range Certificate.
This
course covers the use of a VHF Radio equipped with Digital
Selective Calling (DSC). This replaces the previous VHF
Radio Operators Certificate and is part of the Global
Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).
All VHF Radio users
need to obtain this certificate to operate their radios
safely and legally!
